For offshore environments, waste compaction is vital. By installing the XP100S Compactor inside a working environment such as a food preparation area, you create a seamless process from waste create to waste disposal.
The elongated cylinder of the XP100S Compactor allows for more compaction with each cycle, creating densely compacted bags of waste up to 50 kg in weight. This further minimizes the amount of space required to store waste. The longer cylinder also uses less power with each stroke, and can run on as little as 2 bars of pressure.
Ibis is an international hotel company with over 1,000 hotels worldwide. Ibis partnered with Mil-tek because of the increasing volume of waste and the space it was taking up.
Espresso Exchange Cafe in Liverpool bought an XP100 waste compactor to handle their general/mixed waste. The ease of use and small size were particularly advantageous.
Super Brugsen is a supermarket chain with more than 220 stores in Denmark. They use two mobile wagons in their food production are for both their biodegradable and recyclable waste.
The key to installation is placing the machine in an optimal location. A Mil-tek consultant can advise you on this. The machine can be fastened to walls or floors.
Fill the wagon with waste. Closing the lid activates the pressing cycle. To open, simply lift the lid and wait for the plate to return. Repeat this process until the wagon is full.
Pneumatic compactors use far less energy to run. Mil-tek's patented ECO-Drive system applies constant downward pressure using the available power, thereby further compacting waste without using additional energy.
Pneumatic machines are also quieter in operation and contain no inherent risk of oil contamination or electrical fire.
Yes you can. The Offshore Waste Compactor is designed for exactly this. It has a stainless steel frame meaning it is ideal for kitchens, it is low on both noise and energy usage, and it's small size further enhances its flexibility.
