The Mil-tek 2101S Stainless Steel Can Crusher crushes cans and tins and reduces the volume of space required to store waste by up to 90%.
In offshore environments, strict waste management is critical. the 2101S Can Crusher allows for simple and straightforward disposal of the various cans, drums and tins that are used every day on board. As it is stainless steel, there it is easy to maintain and easy to clean. Paint, oil and other materials are no trouble for a machine than can compact and crush metal, steel, tin, aluminium - almost any form of non-aerosol can up to 30L in size.
The 2101S Can Crusher can be supplied with or without the legs, meaning that it can easily be installed into the working environment, and allow users to operate and an optimum working height.

Installation is as simple as providing the 2101S Can Crusher with compressed air. Depending on requirements, the machine comes with or without legs.
Place an empty tin or canister upright into the machine. The machine can crush containers up to 30 litres in size.
To activate the can crusher, close the door and depress the handle firmly. This activates the pressing cycle, which takes between 7-10 seconds.
Crushed cans are now 90% less voluminous, and are easier to store and easier to transport for recycling.

As the 2101S Can Crusher is stainless steel, it is not necessary to clean out cans before they are compacted. However, in order to maximise the life span of the machine, it is advised that you rinse cans in cold water before compacting them. This will in turn reduce the need to clean the machine.
