Denmark, 1992. A Supermarket Manager had become increasingly frustrated that cardboard and plastic waste was cluttering his workspace.
He set about designing a small size machine that would handle moderate amounts of waste using very little power.
Within 2 years, demand for the newly developed baling machines rocketed as other businesses sought to optimize their workspace with a simple, low-energy solution.
Their small size and low energy use meant that Mil-tek balers had a wide reaching appeal.
Mil-tek's growth has been as much a product of its responsiveness, as well as its adaptability. The original offering expanded to a range of 15+ different types of recycling balers, waste compactors and can crushers, with key models adapted specifically for offshore environments.
